The Community Café is open every Tuesday afternoon from 2 pm. It’s in the Village Hall from September until the end of April but then moves to the Youth and Community Hall so that we can welcome in summer sunshine through the double doors. The Café is proving popular as a place to meet up with old friends and make new ones. Everyone is welcome so do come along!
In addition to serving tea, coffee, squash with biscuits (and quite often cake), we’re planning an Information Hub to be based at the Community Café, where you can find out what’s going on in our two villages as well as details of local businesses and support groups. The Hub will be online, and we hope to have a laptop at the Café soon with someone on hand to help you find the information you need if you haven’t got the technology at home. We will also produce a printed “Woodhouse and Woodhouse Eaves Directory” and have brochures, leaflets and flyers from other organisations for those who prefer printed material.
